Booking Policy

Appointments

You are encouraged to arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Clients are expected to contact the salon if they are running late. Clients failing to arrive on time or who do not contact the salon risk losing their appointment.

Deposits

Paying a deposit shows us that you intend to show up to your appointment and it means you are entering into a contract with Monica Gonzalez. When you pay a deposit, you and Monica Gonzalez agree: the exact time, date, artist and service that you are paying for. Deposits vary and are based on the service requested. Deposit payments will be applied towards your total on the day. This is providing that each client attends the scheduled appointment. If the client does not attend, the deposit is forfeited, which means it WILL NOT roll over to another appointment.

Cancellations

We require 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. All late cancellations, no-shows, and anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late will be charged half the amount of the appoint scheduled and deposit will be forfeited or you will be banned from returning as a customer.

Refunds and Credit Notes

Refunds are not applicable where the client cancels the appointment. 

Where through no fault of the salon or the client, in an act of god, making it impossible for the business to operate or where the appointment cannot be upheld, only then a credit note may be provided to the client upon Monica Gonzalez's discretion. Please note, event cancelations, illness, travel issues, double bookings, change of mind, work duties, and anything of similar nature are not applicable to receive a refund or credit note, no matter how much notice is given. 

Full refunds will apply in cases where Monica Gonzalez has to cancel the appointment.

Methods of Payment

We accept cash and all major cards i.e. Visa, Mastercard, American Express as well as bank issued EFTPOS chip cards. Please note that we do not accept personal cheques and do not give cash back on credit card sales.

Privacy

Monica Gonzalez will not disclose personal client information to third parties and all customer information remains confidential. For further information, refer to our Privacy policy. 

Important

Booking an appointment and paying a deposit with Monica Gonzalez shows us that you intend to show up to your appointment and it means you are entering into a contract with Monica Gonzalez. When you pay a deposit, you and I Monica Gonzalez agree: the exact service that you are paying for. Deposits vary and are based on the service requested. Online deposit payments will be applied towards your total on the day of your scheduled appointment. Deposits and full payments made to I Create Beauty are strictly non refundable or transferable to another service, date or time. 

This is the case for ANY given reason. Please note, examples like accidental bookings, event cancelations, illness, travel issues, double bookings, change of mind, work duties, and anything of similar nature are not applicable to receive a credit note or refund.

By selecting 'yes' on our booking system you are giving permission to Monica Gonzalez to automatically take the funds from your account for the deposit to secure this booking as well as IF you cancel late, do not show to your appointment or arrive more than 20 minutes late.

We will not tolerate abuse over these policies, please ensure you understand what you are agreeing to before booking.
